  This park has a 250-acre lake for swimming, water skiing, wind surfing, and sailing.  The lake is also stocked with trout, bluegill, catfish, and largemouth bass.  Raging Waters, a water theme park, is located at the south end of the lake.  There are jet ski & boat rentals, hot tubs, an equestrian center and even a wedding chapel to rent!  Other recreational amenities include: recreational vehicle camp sites, trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, play equipment, gazebos, and group rental picnic areas.  Food and beverage concessionaires are provided. MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR SECTION UNDER SPORTS AND FUN FOR PUDDINGSTONE LAKE. THAT SECTION HAS MORE DETAILS REGARDING THE LAKE AND BOATING. THIS SECTION HAS DETAILED INFORMATION REGARDING THE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR YOUR BOAT/JET SKI.

HOURS: Sunrise - 9:00 p.m. (Current Summer Hours)

Boating launching hours after sunrise and before sunset to get off lake.
Fast boating starts at 10 a.m.

TRAILS: The wilderness trails are open to mountain bikers, hikers and horseback riders. All users must YIELD in the following order: Biker— to Hiker— to Rider. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the trails.

Puddingstone Lake Boating Map (Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park)

Speed Limits on the Lake are as follows:

5MPH in all areas within 200 feet from shoreline
12MPH beyond 200 feet from shoreline
25MPH minimum  to 35MPH maximum in the designated Fast Boating Area

PWC's limited to fast boating area only

Summer hours — Sunrise to 9:00 p.m. (April 1 to September 30)
Winter hours — Sunrise to 7:00 p.m. (October 1 to March 31)

Daily Vehicle Entrance Fee (April 17 to September 30) $10.00

November 1 through February 28 (weekends & holidays) $10.00

March 1 through April 30 (weekdays) FREE

Daily Boat Permit (May 1 to September 30) $11.00

FISHING:

ALL CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FISH & GAME LAWS ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED

CATCH LIMITS:    Trout 5   Caffish 10    Bass (must be 12” or longer to keep)

BOATING:

The Lake is open to boating from sunrise to sunset each day. All vessels must be inspected and issued a launch permit prior to launch. Boats must be a minimum of 8 feet and no longer than 26 feet. The ODD-EVEN SYSTEM separates power boating / water skiing from Personal Water Craft (P.W.C.) on different days of the week. P.W.C.’s are allowed on odd calendar days and power boating / water skiing on even days. The ODD-EVEN SYSTEM is in effect from April 1 through September 30. Please obtain detailed rules on boating at the boat inspection or park headquarters before launching a boat.

HORSE RENTALS: Horse back riding, boarding and a roping area are located near the east entrance of the park. For more information call (909) 599-8830.

NO KITE FLYING ALLOWED AT THE NORTH SHORE.
